Yes I am still pregnant
I have not written in so very long. Good grief! If anyone is still out there things are progressing well. I did have to go on bp medicine this round. I am taking lebetalol. It all started early on in the pregnancy. I had some labs drawn and my potassium was low at 3.6. I thought that was very odd and asked if my kidneys could be filtering out too much potassium (I researched on ways you lose potassium and this is the #1 culprit). I was sent to a renal doctor who ordered stilll more labs. She asked during this visit if my bp has been a problem for long. I said it had been and she contacted my ob and suggested I go on medicine and that she was more worried about my bp than my potassium. So I started bp medicine. My ob has been monitoring my potassium and with the last lab draw it had gone from 4.1 down to 3.9 so I am back on potassium. After still more research I have also found info that high aldosterone will cause you to leach potassium. Unfortunately aldosterone can be high in pregnancy. So I am just waiting for baby to be born and will take up this issue with my primary care doctor. The renal doctor said my labs came back normal but I never heard anything about my kidney u/s. I am guessing it was normal is if it weren't I bet I would have been summoned by now. This doctor is quite a drive to reach so once the baby is born I am going to ask my primary doctor to get the results from her. We still are not sure regarding the name. It is another boy of course. ;-) I am leaning towards Jackson (or Jaxson). I am still trying to get my husband to warm to the idea. Joshua already calls him baby Jackson and if asked he always says its name is Jackson. I will have to post once we get it decided. I will try and update also as I progress. Shouldn't be too long now.

So good to read an update...you really are a boy-making machine, huh?! :) You should join Facebook...all the kool kids are doing it, lol. I have gotten so behind on blogs since I keep up with people better all in one place, at least those who are on FB!
boys, boys, boys! How exciting! I love Jackson... what are the alternatives? Glad to read an update... I've been a bad blogger and haven't been around. Still think of you... yes, and I think you should join Facebook like Crista suggested! Much quicker updates than the blogs!! Take care and I hope to see a birth announcement soon!
