I have watched him toddling for quite awhile but finally walking is his main mode of transportation. He is the latest bloomer I have had and I thought Jake walking at 15 months was kinda late. He still waddles from side to side but manages fancy tricks like turning around in place and bending down to grab things. It is quite cute.
Not much new to report on my growing baby. He is now officially a fetus and I am in the double digits too. I passed the point of miscarriage a few days ago and have had absolutely NO spotting. I hope this means I am out of the woods. Next Thursday is my ob appointment and we should hear the hb on doppler. Another milestone. Nausea continues but is not quite as bad as before. It usually does not end until week 16 or so for me. I still find it reassuring even though it is not much fun.
Thanks for all the birthday well wishes. Zeeks, I am going to take your advice. You would have thought my husband would be more tuned in since we have been together since 1995. One year he asked me to go and buy my own present and I came home with a fabulous sapphire and diamond ring. Final cost to him almost $1,000! He definately remembered to buy something after that. I am not expecting a major celebration. I am still in disbelief at his insensitivity on that day. He doesn't have much expectation for his birthday and thinks I should feel the same I guess. Men....need I say more?
