First ob appointment

Well, it is a mixed bag. Baby is great! He/she is 22mm long and measures 8 weeks 5 days plus or minus 4 days. Doctor said he could not get quite the right angle but thinks we should go with lmp for due date which bumps me up to March 31, 2009. That is great. Bad part is that my bp is giving me heck again and he is offically calling me hypertensive. I have to take my bp for a week and fax in the results. Then we will decide what to do. I am kinda done worrying about it and really just want the meds to fix the problem. I really can't afford to stroke out at this point. I have taken it now for three days and thankfully it has gone down. It is still high but not as high. He thinks it will come down enough and I am leary of winging it. I guess we shall see. I am doing the NTS screen so I will have an ultrasound around 11 weeks and again at 16 weeks. We may opt out of the amnio at that point but it is still an option if we want to. I really like solid answers and I am afraid the NTS won't be good enough for me. I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Uh oh the guys are home...gotta go...
