Let's here it for the boy!

Joshua is making progress in the potty training department. He pottys more frequently in the potty now. He pottys on command quite a bit and today, for the first time, he pooped! It is the small things we moms get excited about. I caught him in the middle of doing a dooty and asked him if he wanted to poop on the potty. He said yes. So I put in on the potty and sat with him a couple of minutes. Then I asked him if he wanted me to leave. He said yes. So I leave him alone. He yells 5 minutes later that he is done. I come back and lo and behold he did it! At first I thought it was only a little more. Then, as I am putting his diaper back on, I find a larger surprise. Of course it was in his jeans so that means the boy must have grabbed it out before it hit the toilet. This explains why I had streak marks on the seat. We had quite a little mess to clean up. He even got some on his socks! One step forward, two steps back...
