Another short update at our house

It has been a long time since I have posted but I just wanted to post a few pics. Joey is now an acomplished 'bumbo' user. He is sooo close to sitting up on his own. He is getting too big for his car seat and I hope to move him to a regular car seat very soon. His 6 month well check is next week when he gets a slew of shots as well as his flu shot. Being as I work at a hospital I can give a heads up that rsv has been isolated in culture in our area so buck up for the preverbial cold and flu season to commence early. The pics are of Joey in his bumbo and a pic of Joey seemingly looking like he wants to have a chat. Is anyone else dreading winter??? Vacation was great! Everyone should try a trip to Colorado. We definately will go back again. If you ever go to Denver go to Casabonitas. The food is just ok but the entertainment is great. When you have as many kids as I do you definately need distraction so you can shovel in your dinner while your kids are distracted. And yes we are discussing whether we will try for a girl. I am not totally sure yet but since we don't have much time for lovin' I don't expect anything will happen anytime soon. I hope everyone is doing good and I will try to find more time to post. As
you can imagine I don't have too much free time. Right now I am trying to get as much Christmas shopping done before it gets to icky. I have a good start. Anyone else getting ready for Christmas? Thanks Christa for the warning about infant medicines. I had not yet seen that. Until I post again....

Great to see an update! The boys are getting sooo big! I am dreading the winter cold/flu season...especially with the kids in school. I haven't really thought about Christmas yet, but I should get on it soon...time is flying!

Take care & thanks for the great pictures of you & your handsome boys!!! :) SSCKs, Cara A

Ditto to what Cara said, though I have started with the Christmas shopping a bit too. I think it's the earliest ever for me, but it will be good to have one less thing to be stressed about as the holidays approach!

As for the cold medicine list, I was a little hasty in sending it after the hubs sent it to me, and then went and found the full article to read. It seems as though the main problem has been with dosing, i.e., that there have been cases where the dosing instructions have not been followed correctly for children under 2 and thus there have been overdoses.

The fact that they're actually pulling some off the shelves makes me wonder if it's really more than that, though. I guess you can never be too cautious but on the other hand I also believe (for the most part) that it's everything in moderation!
