My crazy world

I just wanted to post an update to let everyone know that my pulse is still beating. It has just been crazy here. Yesterday I spent a good portion of the day getting Eric through a CT and bone scan. While at the chiropractor last week she had suspicision that something was not right in Eric's chest region and had an x-ray done that revealed Eric has two fractured ribs and one rib that is healing from a prior fracture. Of course we asked Eric if he had done anything to injure himself and he vehimately denies anything happening that would cause these fractures. The chiropractor sent his x-rays to a radiologist who said he needed to be seen by his md for more testing. His md sent him for the CT and bone scan to rule out anything pathological going on and that is where we are in the process. I am sitting on pins and needles awaiting the final verdict which should come either today or tomorrow. The md said there was an odd "spongy" area that could just be the way Eric's bones formed...or, of course, I am concerned about some sort of a malignancy in his bones that might be eating them away. Please pray for some good results.

Jacob's first screen for speech of course reveals he is a little delayed. When it rains it pours is what I am thinking. Anyhow, we are going to wait until after the school districts evaluation and recommendation before making a decision on just how to proceed. I am sure it is a minor thing and will require us to be more diligent on making him say things correctly. I am not worried as much about him as I am about Eric.

I will update when I can. I want to congratulate Zeeks on seeing a hb. I am so happy for her.
