What's on my mind

Just a quick little update to let you know I am still here ;-) . I decided not to bore you all with another belly shot at 28 weeks. I really have not grown that much (at least I don't think so). I never get really big even at the end. It is both a blessing and a curse since I feel like some people don't see me as getting the same discomfort. While I may "look good" I am still getting the same uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms that we all get at the end. A few of them are now kicking up.

I have started to get, shall we say, stopped up plumbing. The same amount of water that used to flush the system is just not cutting the mustard these days. I am usually very regular. Like clockwork. This last week I have been only having success everyother day and boy, let me tell you, it sure kicks up the gas!

Retention of water is coming into play as well. My rings are getting tighter. Not so tight that I cannot get them off but tight enough that it is noticably harder to remove them. Time to add more water to the tank I guess.

And, last night, I had a bit of numbness in my hip when I did not change sides soon enough. All normal I know and well worth it but I just had to get the bitching and moaning out to flush my psyche.

On a good note we finally got Jacob's swingset ordered this Saturday. He should have it delivered and set up within the next two weeks. On our last shopping day for his swing we went to visit another vendor. At their playground display area he somehow got a large gash on his right shin. Being the tough guy that he is he did not cry or slow down for one minute though. I only saw it after we had him strapped in his carseat. The poor guy then proceded to get something in his eye at the place we bought his system at. It took a lot of eye flushing and time for his eye to feel better. Let's just say it was not his day.

I am so happy that two of the sistas have now had their babies and they are happy and healthy. Congratulations to Cyndi and Christine! If I am right the next sista due is Barb. I hope and pray that the rest of the sistahood gets their prayers answered soon. Cara M, Jenn, Lynn, Stephanie, and Zeeks just know that I am rooting for you all even though I have not been im'ing any lately. You are each so deserving and have waited so long.
