How does time fly AND stand still?

Well, I am 32 weeks tomorrow. On the one hand I can't believe I am getting so close. On the other....another 8 weeks? I had my 31 week appointment and all is well with the baby. I am having the usual blood pressure issues so the doc had me take it when I got home. The lowest reading I got was 133/86. He said there are no other signs of preeclamsia such as protein in my urine or swelling so for now I got the ok to come back at 34 weeks. He said since I am an experienced mom and new the signs to watch for he would let me wait 3 weeks instead of the usual 2. I am hoping that he will induce me at 39 weeks. Last time he wanted to induce me 3 days early so cross your fingers girls.

A big congratulations to fellow sista Barb on the birth of her baby boy Daniel. I am amazed that he came so quickly and she was able to have him vaginally since he was so big. Way to go Barb!

Another possible event to look forward to...Eric might move back home! He has recently expressed his desire to do so. It seems he and his stepmom aren't getting along. He has on numerous occassions before he moved in said that his stepmom has a temper and can be mean. He told me of a recent time that she even went as far as to say to her 8 year old that he was stupid. Of course I only have one side but with that one event it makes me question her parenting...what the hell was she thinking saying her child is stupid!!!!! I told Eric that he needs to talk with his dad and give him a headsup. He needs to be given a chance to correct the situation. This same type of complaint has been brought to his dad before so I seriously doubt it will help. Eric even said that it won't change. I also said that there is good and bad living at either house. His dad and I both agreed not to allow him to bounce back and forth. If he chooses to move this time it will be the last. Of course I really want him at home so it took great strength for me not to give him a big ole hug and tell him to move back tomorrow but I want to make sure Eric really thinks about what he is doing. He said the reason he left was to spend more time with his dad, which he did during the summer but not since school started. And he thinks his old girlfriend had a hand in his decision for moving out too, which I suspected. He said he feels like he is treated better at our house so I guess time will tell if the move comes to fruition.

I am planning on getting another belly shot tomorrow so I will try and post it asap. I have only gained 12 pounds so far but have recently cut exercise due to the bp concerns so I may pack on the pounds yet. Bathroom calls......again.
