24 weeks
Not much new here as far as my belly. It does not look much bigger but believe me...I am starting to feel full. I am guessing that my fundus (as I am no expert but doc showed me where it was and how it felt) is about two inches above my belly button. I only have about another 2 inches to rise so I am sure the rib jabbing is coming soon. Baby bean (as we cannot seem to agree on a name) is doing flips and you can see movement quite distinctly. I might be watching tv and out of the corner of my eye I see my shirt doing a dance. He jabs the bladder and all sides of my ute. I am still trying to do my elliptical trainer. I vowed to make it to at least March.
Jake is at mom's day out so I can actually post without him climbing on top of the computer desk and commando jumping to the floor. His second day was totally uneventful. I brought him to the door and he opened the gate and went in. I said "see ya later alligator" and he did not even turn around. I guess my littlest man is growing up. I can't believe he is doing this mom's day out so easily. Don't get me wrong I am happy but a little sad to see him grow up.
I have not heard anything about my glucose test so I am guessing I passed. My best friends sis had a baby girl last week by c section. She was 7 lbs and 19 inches long and came at approximately 38 weeks. There was some debate about her due date. Since she was breech that warrented her c section. Her water broke which gave her an earlier delivery. She named her Ginger Grace, aka Gigi. I love the name Grace but I cannot seem to seperate Ginger from Gilligan's Island.
My girlfriend who is about 3 weeks behind me is finally getting a boy. She has two girls, one 16 and one 2 1/2. She is still in shock because she was sure this was another girl. I told her I felt the same way since I seem to keep having boys so it is normal to feel that way and don't be surprised if it is a boy this time. I had a feeling one of us would do the sex change, lol. Now bean will have another boy bean to play with who is almost exactly the same age so I am kinda excited.

Your belly is adorable!!! You don't look huge at all. Everytime I get in the tub I feel like a whale flailing around in too little water and keep waiting for some goody two shoes to set me back to the sea. Oh well!! That is so awesome that your little bean is being so entertaining and even better that your Jacob is enjoying his mom's day out so easily. I feel similar in how fast my Jacob is growing up. It goes too fast. Congrats on passing the glucose test too. You just rock today girly!!
Patty,
You look great & everything sounds like it is going great!! I'm so happy that Jake adjusted nicely to the Mom's day out program. I have to agree with Ginger...Gilligan's Island is the first thing that popped into my head when I read that...Gigi is cute though. Well, take care & best wishes, Cara A
