When will winter end?

I have not posted on this blog in awhile and I figured I would post an update. I do have a private blog now but I figured maybe someone would still check in here. We have had all sorts of fun recently. Jacob had the pukes first. His episode lasted almost ten days! I began to think it would never end! Then Joey got them and Josh and finally Dad. We had an infirmary going. Next came the colds. First Joshua then Joey. Joey's turned into a double ear infection. This is his second round of ear infections this winter so maybe tubes will be in his future too.

Jacob is playing basketball now. He has a lot to learn but he is having a lot of fun with it. He has lost two teeth now. My gosh he is growing up fast.

Joshua is loving his preschool at the church. And he is going to be a peer model for 3 year olds this fall at big brother's school. I am very excited about this. He will go four mornings a week. This will give Joey some one on one time. Josh is also in a big boy bed in his brother's room. Maybe Joey will be able to sleep in the crib? For tonight he is in the playpen sleeping. He is still getting over his ear infections so his sleep has been rough.

And Joey is finally crawling. He has been doing the slinky crawl for quite awhile but decided that crawling is now the preferred method of transporation. He is cutting teeth like crazy. He now has 6 teeth coming in. He is starting to eat more and more regular foods. Soon I will be weaning him. He is such a gentle nurser that I have not been in a big hurry to wean him. But the time is drawing near.

All boys are sleeping so I am going to have some me time. That time does not seem to happen enough these days...
