Hey girls! I can finally post. Phew what a birth. Induction went great. Joseph Tyler was born at 3:07pm March 31st. He weighed 7lbs 0 ozs. and was 20 inches. He managed to give us a scare though. The first night he decided to start "humming" and the nurse noticed he was retracting when breathing. His labs showed an elevated white count. So blood cultures were ordered and he was put in the nicu. He received two antibiotics and stayed in the nicu until yesterday morning. Nothing ever grew on culture so either he had no infection, one that was not caught on culture, or had some sort of newborn stress reaction. All is great now and we just came home this morning. Very stressful few days and my hormones wreaked havoc so I was extemely emotional. Thank goodness he rounded the bend by Monday evening. I am going to add pictures for you to enjoy.

So sorry to hear about the stress of the last few days, but also so glad that all is well now. Hang in there...and know that lots of good thoughts are coming your way!!

Thanks for the update! I've been wondering!! He's a cutie for sure and I'm glad that all is well now. He couldn't have been born on a better day!! (my b'day)
