Sorry for keeping everyone in suspense. Joshua James made is appearance Saturday, May 7th at 948 am. He was 6 lbs 15 1/2 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Delivery was short and sweet. I headed to the hospital at 545 am and on the way James suggested we pick up some contraband Lamar's donuts for energy. Of course I could not resist so I got two hot glazed donuts. Yummy yummy!
We checked in at 615 and started pitocin at 7 am. Just before 8am my doctor came and checked me, broke the water and told the nurse I could have my epidural once contractions were 1-2 minutes apart. I got the best nurse because as soon as my doctor left the floor she cheated a little and got my epidural ordered before all the nasty stuff started. We had a tiny scare when labor stalled for like 10 minutes but, in the end, the entire labor lasted only 2 hours and 48 minutes! My doctor said it was 1 hour and 51 minutes from the time he broke my water. I actually went from 5 cm (when I stalled...yeah right) to 10 cm in 30 minutes. Did I mention I love my nurse and epidurals are HEAVEN?
I will post a link below to his web nursery shot when it is available but it does not do him justice. He is so sweet and cute. We even slept from 1130pm to 530 am this morning believe it or not. I fell asleep with my "buffet line" hanging out and he rooted around during the night and had a snack as evidenced by the spot left behind. I am so completely thankful he is healthy and forever indebted for the support I have gotten from my sistas. I love ya girls.

It seems like just yesterday we were hanging out together on TTCAM then TTCAM 6+ (which, BTW, is gone now) and then seeing double!! I'm so happy for you Patty, I just don't have the words- just plenty of HAPPY tears!! Congrats, Congrats, Congrats!! YAY!!!!
