Lately I have been experiencing MAJOR mood swings. The kind where I am laughing hysterically one minute and locking myself in the bathroom the next crying. I know this is a pregnancy thing but good grief!
Mr Jacob has now decided that not only are naps not good but so is bedtime. Last night with a no nap day under his belt we put him to bed. Well, he cried and banged on his door for like 15 minutes. Then he found the doorstop and proceded to flip it over and over. Suddenly there was silence. I thought...great...he went to sleep. Noooooooo, he had turned on the light and began playing in his room. So, I turned out the light and James click off the fan light so he could not turn them back on. We left him to sleep again. He cried for another 30 minutes or so and then silence. You think it is over? No! Apparently he fell asleep on the floor and awoke right after my husband left for work. I decided to take a stand and not go in. He cried for another 30 minutes or so and finally I cracked and brought him to sleep with me. I hope this phase ends soon. Right now he is actually taking a nap after falling asleep in the van on the way home. I finally have a few minutes to myself.

Hugs Patty. I know how the emotional rollercoaster goes. I seem to have a permanent pass for the ride. I hope Jacob's sleeping issues don't last and that he quickly returns to the days of peaceful slumber. My 18 month old, Jacob, has also decided naps are not for him lately and has been waking up at 3:00am every night. They must know we are pregnant and are testing us! LOL!!! Best of luck to you.
